It's our last night at Living Witness.  We have truly been blessed with new friendships.  It will be very difficult leaving tomorrow morning.  Here's some pictures of the last couple of days.

Finished side of the church ~ we never noticed the crosses before, now with the blue paint they show up beautifully.

One step closer to renovating the barber shop now that it's cleaned up and organized.

Handyman Bill, we're so thankful for his plumbing abilities ~ we needed showers and presto, Bill fixed them.

A very brave man!!

Diane and Jim ~ scraping paint and sittin up high.

Goodnight to our our loved ones from Cedarbrook family south.  We'll be home on Saturday.
Thanks for all your prayers and support.  Continue praying for our safe travels home.

Today was our first day of work.  We began the day with Bible study with the Nehemiah men.

We started on painting the outside of the church today and cleaning out the barber shop.
Here's Kris and Dave applying primer to the bricks after the scraping was done.
Jim was busy filling up the dumpster.
Diane bringing out items for Deacon Bob to sort through - tomorrow the dumpster is emptied so we'll be able to fill it up again.
The group studying Proverbs.
Thank goodness for young men who are not afraid of heights and like to paint.
Time to end our day of work.  What a good looking bunch of people.
Keep us in your prayers for everyone to be safe from injury as were putting up scaffolding, climbing up ladders and cleaning out the barber shop.  Please pray for the staff and men of Nehemiah.
God Bless and good night ~ Diane
Good Morning Cedarbrook Friends and Family,
Yesterday was a day of worship and praise at Living Witness Church.  We also got to attend the annual service where member become a deacon of the church.  Brother Bob is now a deacon for Living witness and he's also getting married on April 24th to a lovely woman named Wanda.
Brother Bob and Wanda
Time for devotions - i'll be back soon ~ Diane

Bible study was great.  We study how to protect our minds and put on our armor and helmet of God.
Ladies of Cedarbrook - we need to start stylin like our sisters in Menomonie South.  The hats are so gorgeous.  Mission Paulette is in this photo.
Sorry it's sideways, I don't know how to turn the photo.
Our first project is to paint the upper portion of the outside of the church.  We'll be setting up scaffolding for this project and the people who are afraid of heights will paint the sides of the building where they can be on ground level.
Here's some more pictures from yesterday.
Time for us to get to work.  God Bless ~ Diane

We arrived early enough in St. Louis to visit the Gateway Arch ~ it's huge!  The weather is perfect, we actually had the windows open on the van while driving.  Spring has sprung.  The flowering trees are so beautiful.  We arrived at Living Witness at 9 p.m.  We were welcomed with loving and open arms.  It's great to see Bob again.  Here's a picture of us at the Arch.  Time to turn in and get some shuteye.  God Bless and I'll talk to you tomorrow.  By the way ~ Thank you so much for giving us this opportunity to serve, We're feeling all your prayers.  Diane
