Tuesday's Happenings

We started our morning with devotions at 6:50 a.m., then breakfast and Bible study with the men. Deacon Tillman led us in a study of "Polution sin/sin in the camp" from the book of Joshua.  Deacon's teaching touched us all.  All of us battle with sin everyday.
Deacon asked us to come up and sing "May the Circle be Unbroken" and Diane and Krystal gave them their best performance.
We worked on the apartments for 2 hours, had lunch and then took a couple of hours to do some sight seeing in the ninth ward, we also visited the memorial for Katrina.
Here's proof we're working hard and getting the building ready for plumbing, wiring and sheetrock.

A group pictue after the afternoon class.  Some of the Nehemiah men were chosen to speak on what prompted them to come into the program, how they would stay connected and what were there plans after they finished the program.

Donna and Dave just couldn't resist dancing to The Four Season's.

We thank God for a safe and productive day.  It's time to do our evening devotions.  Pray for a good and restful night's sleep.

We prayed for you guys at our LEAD meeting tonight. But that picture "proving" that you are working looked a little staged!

Thanks for the prayers. We really are working hard, but you're right the picture was staged.
